Aaron Ross Golson was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 23, 1976, to Curtis Ralph Golson and Jaclyn Hoese Golson. He passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022.

After graduating from Clemens High School, Aaron entered Texas A&M University, Class of ’98. He earned a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Upon graduation, Aaron was hired by USAA where he made many life-long friends. He joined the United States Marshals Service in 2006 with the Tactical Operations Division as an Electronics Technician and served in that capacity until the time of his death. Aaron will be greatly missed by his professional work family. Aaron was an active member of Faithbridge Church in Spring, TX serving on their Media Team. He was also a life-time member of Bexar Bowling Society where he set up pins as a child and later enjoyed bowling 9-pin. He was an adult leader of the Boy Scouts of America, proudly leading his son to the rank of Eagle Scout. He was always an enthusiastic “cheer dad” for his twin daughters’ cheerleading teams over the last decade. Aaron continued to serve his fellow South Texans as a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo serving on their world-famous BBQ Cookoff Committee. The most important things in Aaron’s life included his love of Jesus, his wife, and his family. Aaron was an avid reader and he loved Texas history and fishing. He was an amazing gourmet cook. And, of course, he loved his Fightin’ Texas Aggies.

Aaron will always be remembered as an upstanding Christian man, loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend. Aaron was baptized, confirmed, and married at Redeemer United Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Christine, as well as their three children Ty, Ashlyn, and Reese.
