Weekly Update: New teaching series begins Sunday!

Dear Faithbridgers and Friends,

Yesterday Faithbridge had the privilege of serving as a teaching church to 3 churches in our area, after which I got to spend the afternoon with a whole group of seminary pastors, some traveling from as far and wide as Nepal, Japan, South Korea, Estonia, and Romania. This is something that brings me great joy because I get to encourage other pastors in their leadership. It's humbling to look back and remember the things God has done in and through the lives of Faithbridgers, and I'm honored to serve alongside you, knowing that God has great plans for us yet ahead.

This Sunday, January 29, we'll hold our first of three Grow Group Meet & Greet events. This is a chance to build life-long relationships, so we’re inviting you to talk face-to-face with members from various grow groups and to choose the group that fits you best. This one-hour event is offered at 5pm on January 29, February 12, and February 26. Click here to tell us which one works best for you.

I’m really excited to begin our new sermon series this Sunday with a message called The Long-Haul Gospel. Whether you’ve read the gospels many times or you’re new to the Bible, you’ll get a new perspective on the gospel from this series.

In case I haven’t said it just lately, I’m grateful for you!

I’ll see you Sunday,
Ken

PS:   Next Thursday, February 2, at 7pm, we’re going to have a Night of Prayer & Worship. It’s going to be a great evening of extended worship (led by Derek Guynes) and prayer, including a brief, inspiring message from Pastor Terry. Children’s ministry will be available for ages Kindergarten and younger. I hope you’ll come.
