  • 8:15 AM -Arrive at Faithbridge on 1/20/26 – Sign required release form
  • 8:45 AM -Leave Faithbridge promptly
  • 10:00 AM Arrive at The Prison Museum – 491 TX-75N, Huntsville, TX 77320
  • The Texas Prison Museum is located in Huntsville, Texas. The non-profit museum features the history of the prison system in Texas. There are many different artifacts in the museum, including an electric chair named "Old Sparky" that was formerly used from 1924 to 1964 as the primary means of execution. Exhibits trace the history of Texas prisons from the system's inception in 1848 to the present, with features ranging from imaginatively contrived contraband weapons to the work of corrections officers to gang tattoos.
  • Upon arrival we will check in and everyone will be on their own for a self-guided tour.
  • We will leave the Prison Museum at approximately 11:30 AM, and take the bus to have lunch at The Farmhouse Restaurant located at 1004 14th St., Huntsville, TX 77340. Attendees pay individually onsite at the restaurant.
  • Leave The Farmhouse Restaurant at approximately 1 PM
  • 1:10 PM arrive at the HEARTS Veteran Museum of Texas, 463 SH-75N Huntsville, TX 77320 for a tour
  • HEARTS Museum is a one-of-a-kind museum. “We are not a typical military museum; in fact, we don't consider ourselves a military museum at all. We are a museum about people. Particularly the veterans who have served to protect our nation, preserve our freedom, and to secure the freedom of people around the world.”
  • 2:30 PM Board the Bus to return to Faithbridge by approximately 3:30 PM
