The Wise Life: The Parables of Jesus
Last year at Summer Study we talked about God's wisdom in Proverbs—a wisdom that can help us to follow God's will in our jobs, homes, circumstances, and any other aspect of life. But did you know that Jesus, the wisest person who ever lived, also gave His followers wisdom in the form of parables? The parables of Jesus are confusing, inspiring, beautiful, and fascinating—and they give us wisdom to navigate life as Jesus would. Join other adults to learn and discuss these parables in July! Each week, gather in the Loft to watch a new video recording from Faithbridge Bible teachers Michael McDowell, Wayne Risher, Ken Werlein, and others as they teach on a different parable of Jesus, and the wisdom we can learn from them to apply to our lives. Then, discuss the teaching and study the Bible together in small groups. The 55 and Up daytime version of the study runs July 15–August 5, Wednesday afternoons, 1:00-2:30pm in the Loft.
