Our goal in serving beyond the walls of Faithbridge is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to build relationships with our community. In working alongside our ministry partners, we help demonstrate the love of Christ to those we encounter.

Ministry Partners

Bridging for Tomorrow

Bridging for Tomorrow resources families to build stronger communities and brighter futures. Along with operating a large food pantry, they serve the community with educational and enrichment programs.

Needs: Volunteer with our Youth on Mondays or Tuesdays, or in our Pantry on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Care Net

Care Net Pregnancy Center demonstrates the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel in a loving, confidential atmosphere. They are committed to upholding the truth that God creates human life in His image at conception.

Needs: Care Staff Volunteers (women who can commit to at least 2 hours weekly to meet one-on-one with young women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy), Medical Volunteers, and Ministry Volunteers. Your first step is to schedule a tour of their facility to help find your place at Care Net.

Cornerstone Family Ministries

Cornerstone Family Ministries (CFM) is a multi-cultural, faith-based, non-profit organization located in the heart of the Spring Branch community in Houston, Texas, engaging, supporting, and empowering students and families through intentional programs to step into their God given calling and purpose.

Needs: Become a volunteer for Fun Friday, a program designed to provide an opportunity for their younger students to have fellowship, fun, and biblical truth, from 5:45 to 8:00 pm. Dates vary.

Finishing Touch

Finishing Touch Ministries is committed to demonstrating God’s love by thoughtfully furnishing the homes of families in need. Since its inception, Finishing Touch has transformed the living spaces of over 180 families in the Houston area as they seek to provide the gift of home.

Needs: Offer furniture for donation or purchase from their Walmart Wishlist or Amazon Wish List.

Hearts with Hope

Hearts with Hope is a General Residential Operation (GRO) that provides a safe and nurturing environment for girls ages 7-17 experiencing time in foster care. Their vision is that each child who enters their care will exit with skills to develop and sustain healthy relationships, advocate for their needs, and have a purpose.

Needs: Volunteer your time to become a mentor, provide Life Skills training or physical education/sports programs. Donate gift cards or items needed for independent living.

Houston Welcomes Refugees

Houston Welcomes Refugees exists to help ease the resettlement process for refugees coming to Houston by mobilizing invested, caring volunteers, and fostering hope amidst crisis.

Needs: Donate Welcome Kits, Volunteer Move-In Teams, or Volunteer Welcome Teams. Your first step to serve is to attend an Orientation.

Mission of Yahweh is a faith-based shelter that empowers, enriches, and restores the lives of homeless women and children, and provides outreach services to communities in need.

Needs: Volunteer with Faithbridge to serve dinner and host activities for residents and kids on the third Saturday of the month.

Northwest Assistance Ministries is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that strives to meet basic human needs through Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Needs: Serve as a Meal Delivery Driver for Meals On Wheels.

Redeemed Ministries offers restoration services to adult survivors of domestic sex trafficking with a trauma-informed holistic healing program and the support of community partners.

Needs: Teach a class, be a professional or personal mentor, or provide a meal for the Sparrow House. Your first step to serve is to attend volunteer training.

Sleep In Heavenly Peace is dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch beds to children who don’t have a bed of their own.

Needs: Donate bedding or volunteer for a Build Day or Bed Deliveries.

Spring-Woodlands Ministries is a nonprofit faith-based organization located in Spring, Texas focused on low-income senior communities.

Needs: “Bags of Love” Food Distribution to deliver (monthly) groceries to these designated seniors.
