The Road is our student missions program at Faithbridge, and is among the most substantive opportunities of growth, impact, and development we offer current 5th–12th graders.

Hunger is a five-day journey from Monday through Friday for 5th grade students. This journey consists of day trips that run from 8am to 5pm. Hunger teams serve local ministries that are fighting food insecurity in the city of Houston. Teams engage in various activities that offer them an introduction to serving Jesus and deepening their hunger for Him.

Houston is a five-day journey from Monday through Friday for 6th grade students. This journey consists of day trips that run from 8am to 5pm. Houston teams will serve various local ministries in the city of Houston. Teams will complete worksite projects and run Vacation Bible School to advance the mission of our local ministry partners.

Cornerstone Family Ministries, Mission of Yahweh, Spring Spirit
Our "GUM" journeys, as we like to call them, are one-week journeys for 7th graders where our teams will learn more about what poverty is and means through meaningful sessions with the GUM staff, while also serving alongside them. Teams will have the responsibility of running a VBS for the kids in the community, while working to restore homes around the community through work projects.

GUM - Galveston Urban Ministries
Lubbock is a one-week journey for 8th grade students where teams partner with the Lubbock Dream Center. At the Dream Center, teams work on organizing clothing closets and food pantries as well as various other service projects in the community. Teams also partner with Lubbock Impact. While there, they will have the responsibility to run a 2-day VBS with their kids as well as work on renovations for their buildings.

Lubbock Impact, Lubbock Dream Center
Colorado is a one-week journey where high school students will spend time in Denver, putting on a Sports Camp and cleaning up the neighborhood. We partner with Legacy Christian Fellowship Church to plan and run a three-day sports camp for local youth. Our team will also engage in work projects around the church and in the community.

Legacy Christian Fellowship is a body of believers committed to sharing the hope of Jesus with their community. Students will get to interact with local children through a sports camp, and members of the community through community events like barbeques to have fellowship and be encouraged by the hope we have in Jesus.
This is a one-week journey for high school students. In New Orleans, the team will partner with Trinity Community Center. The team will work with the summer camp program to facilitate a Sports Camp experience for local kids. Students will be partnering with TCC for worksite as well; doing projects in the community.

Trinity Community Center walks alongside the youth in their community from kindergarten through college, offering educational support, mentorship, and spiritual guidance. TCC offers an after-school program, summer camp, and summer internships. Their after-school program provides homework help and one-on-one tutoring.
This is a ten-day journey for high school students. The team will partner with East West Ministries to be trained and sent to reach out to people in Houston from different faith backgrounds. This team will be trained in having spiritual conversations, go on tours of local temples, and plan a day camp to engage with refugee families in the community.
July 5–14
East West has been living out the vision of glorifying God by multiplying followers of Jesus in spiritually dark places for the past 30 years. They mobilize and equip the Body of Christ to reach out to the lost and equip local believers to multiply disciples and churches among the unreached. They are actively invested in the community, constantly discovering people of peace, having follow-up meetings, and sharing their faith with the unreached.
On "Student-Led" journeys, a pair of students are given a high level of ownership and responsibility while being coached and developed by their adult leaders.
Students have the opportunity to enroll in the student leadership program every fall ahead of the following missions season.
This is a two-week journey for High School students. The team partners with K180, a ministry based in the suburbs of London. While in training for the trip and during the trip, the students will be trained by the K180 staff on how to have conversations with non-believers, share their testimonies, articulate the Gospel, and evangelize on the streets of London at well-known landmarks.

Kerygma 180 or “K180” has the vision to “set Europe ablaze” with the Gospel. Their core focus is to partner alongside churches in proclaiming the Gospel and equipping the next generation. Kerygma means to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, and 180 is the hope of people making a complete 180-degree turn and following Christ.
This is a two-week journey for high school students. In El Salvador, the team partners with La Casa de Mi Padre’s mission to heal hearts, restore families, and bring hope of a better future to children in crisis through service and relationships. The team will spend time with the children and house-families as well as in construction/labor continuing to develop the farm. Teams will learn about and further La Casa’s ministry through a community food delivery and by running a three-day VBS for local children.

La Casa de mi Padre is a ministry that’s transforming lives, serving as a children’s home with over 40 current children. La Casa is about holistic care, focusing on Christ-centered family. They are a long-standing partner of Faithbridge, with both adult and student teams venturing to El Salvador each year.
This is a two-week journey for high school students where students will partner with Urban Rhythm, run by Lindsay and Shannon Shores. Students further Urban Rhythm’s ministry by leading worship, facilitating small group discussion, organizing a VBS, and spending time with the people of Botswana.
June 14–27
Urban Rhythm’s purpose is to empower youth mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. They run many programs and camps throughout the year to accomplish these goals.
This is a two-week journey for high school students. In the D.R., the team will partner with Levanta’s mission to encourage, equip, and empower students and families to rise above through community, education, and spiritual programming. The team will spend time with young kids in the community hosting an English camp, as well as going to camp with high school students learning English. They will do work projects around the Levanta house and in the community.

Levanta is a ministry that sees needs in the community and meets them. In the town of Los Ciruelos, they provide English classes, Bible studies, tutoring, and discipleship. They have a sports ministry on the local basketball court and meet tangible needs in the community through food deliveries and home repair help.
This is a one-week trip for high school students. The team will partner with Enough Ministries to engage the community through serving at a soup kitchen, putting on a VBS for local children, and completing work projects at the team house.

Enough Ministries exists to accomplish God’s work with their hands by creating a radically inclusive, just, and loving church, mobilized to transform Vermont for Jesus. They are bringing hope in a spiritually dark place by meeting physical and spiritual needs in the community.
This is a one-week trip for high school students. Teams will partner with Place of Promise to run a VBS for their Kids of Promise program for elementary-aged children in the community. The team will also do work projects around the property.

Place of Promise provides Christ-centered programming for men, women, and children to experience physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. Through their adult residential program, and Kids of Promise, they offer new life in Christ to those who have experienced hurt and brokenness.
This is a ten-day journey for high school students. In Arkansas the team will partner with Amity Methodist Church to run a three-day camp for local youth. The team will also perform worksite projects like painting, yard work, and cleaning up the local church and neighborhood.

Amity Methodist Church is committed to developing the community with a Gospel-centered mindset to help the community thrive with its currents strengths the Lord has provided. While their congregation is less than 200 members, they welcome nearly 150 students every Wednesday night for dinner and Bible study, pouring into the next generation and providing hope.
